Subjects and themes with "Contrast" that I so far explored include - Studies relating to DIY (paint tin, ladder and rags) contrasting angles of the same subject matter. Contrast in different artists (Banksy and Durer) using Photoshop to combine works as well as my own work as background. Looked at mark making - Van Gogh - relating to use of biro and lines (linear drawings). Now focus is on travelling, the contrast in angles and modes of transportation. Looking at bikes, bus station etc. Wanting to include people so there is a greater range in the contrast between shapes within my work - human and the more mechanical atmosphere e.g. modes of transport bikes, and the buses. Perhaps use this as a busy background to reflect the idea of travelling, then focus in on different aspects/angles.
